Braeden Hoeft's cousins, in Cincinnati, have thrown down the gauntlet, challenging Braeden to a food drive. Pack 297 is in!
Food donation boxes will be at TRI K in Maple Plain (Where Audrey works) and Precision Collision (Chad's shop)
on North Arm Drive. All items will be donated to the Westonka Food Shelf. Starts Monday June 18, and goes through July 1

the Saturday before Memorial Day our local Scouts help the legion place flags on graves of Veterans, Firefighters and Auxiliary members. It’s a morning well spent, and the kids always do a great job. This will start at the Mound Union Cemetery at 10 AM  ( the one on the way to Big Stone ) Also, your scout can take part in the ceremony at The Gillespie center on Memorial Day. See calendar for specifics. 

Weather was perfect for camp. We did some hiking, compass work, bowlines, and introduced some Tigers to a Pack 297 staple : The Hobo Dinner.
We followed that with some s'mores. Those that stayed the night broke camp early Sunday due to rain. Next camp is Summer Camp in August. 

Tent out at Carver Park this coming Saturday. If you'd rather not stay the night, come out for the afternoon and have dinner. 
Either way sign up on this website under events so we can plan the amount of food we'll need. If you need a
tent we can get you one. Pack will cover the costs for camp and meals. I'll be sending timeline and agenda this week but plan on,
roughly, starting around noon on Saturday and breaking camp Sunday morning.
